1. There are three (Thanksgiving is part 2 of the trilogy, part 1 is Halloween).
2. Very early in the morning (sometimes at dawn).
3. mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, green beans and corn on the cob.
4. Pumpkin pie.
5. It takes place in New York. People usually watch it on TV (it’s broadcast live from New York).
6. Midday.
7. People watch football on TV while digesting dinner. If the weather is nice they actually play football in their back yards.
8. They start putting up Christmas decorations. Thanksgiving kicks off the Christmas season.
9. It’s the biggest shopping day in the year in the US and people start their holiday shopping for Christmas.
